The wedding I'm shopping for is in the winter, and I decided to go with a longer hemline, as I anticipate it will be a cool day.
If I was looking for a floor-length dress, this would be at the top of my list!
The v-neck and A-line cut are flattering to any figure, and the applique on the overskirt are beautiful.

I love this dress, and have never worn anything like it! The fabric is comfortable.
This dress is size 16W. I am 5'6" and 195lbs. I am a little pear shaped and have heavy arms. I had tried the size 16 (in navy) and, except for the sleeves, it actually fit me better than the 16W. That being said, with the sleeves on the 16W being a good fit, the entire dress is very comfortable to move around in and doesn't feel too big. The only real alteration that the dress needs for me is to be hemmed. (Because of a back injury, I will be wearing flats to my son's wedding.) It might be fine for someone else who is 5'6", provided that you're able to wear heels.
